Suspected herdsmen hack farmer to death in Oyo
Some suspected herdsmen have reportedly killed a farmer identified as Musa Monsuro, in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State.
The farmer was killed at his cashew farm at Araromi village, Igboora, around 5 pm on Monday, May 2.
Reports have it that security agents were alerted and they went to the farm to pick up the corpse, which was taken to a mortuary.
The State police spokesperson, Adewale Osifeso who confirmed the incident said it is currently being investigated.
According to Osifeso, “The case is undergoing investigation. You will be updated accordingly.”
