Nigerian singer, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems becomes the first female Nigerian Afrobeats artist to win the Best International Act at the 2022 BET Awards
The annual award event which essentially honors people of color, was held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to celebrate Black excellence in music, culture, and sports.
