Three persons have been reportedly killed and many abducted after terrorists attacked a mosque while worshippers were breaking their fast at Baba Juli village in Bali Local Government Area on Tuesday, April 5.
According to eyewitnesses, the terrorists who were about 50 in number, abducted many worshippers from the mosque and took them to an unknown location.
“Yesterday’s attack caught us unawares. We were breaking our fast inside the mosque when we started hearing gun shots and there was nothing we could do to counter the terrorists.” a resident of the community said
Confirming the incident, the spokesperson of the Taraba State Police Command, DSP Usman Abdullahi, said an official statement will be released soon.
